Dr. Tylisha Johnson, visionary, strategist, author, speaker, and certified life coach, lives her life on purpose, understanding that she is created for a purpose that is greater than herself. It is her “Why” that drives her daily and inspires her to overcome every limitation that could possibly arise. She believes that if your Why isn’t strong enough, you will not fight hard enough, and you will always say, “Enough is enough!” When you feel overwhelmed revisit your why! What is her why? Her “Why” is founded upon one of her favorite quotes by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., “Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?’” She uses the very things that she had to overcome to fuel her why! 

Her personal experiences with rejection led to low self-esteem, which drove her to strive to perform at the highest level of perfectionism in everything (almost to her detriment at times). However, nothing could compare to the most traumatic experience of her life, which was the passing away of her 11 year old son in 2011, after a 9-month battle with Leukemia. Tylisha was determined even through that to finish her doctorate degree in business administration, all while going through a divorce after 20 years of marriage, in 2013. Her fortified faith and determination produced her ability to endure every tribulation, increasing her strength and courage each step of the way. Through these experiences she learned how to transcend horizons and soar beyond the limits. Today, Tylisha declares her life to be an “Excuse Free Zone,” as she believes through her own experience that you can achieve your goals despite what you are going and growing through in your life. She believes in living life “full-out”, tapping into every gift inside and sharing it with the world to activate, inspire, motivate and transform the lives of others. Determining each day to un-apologetically be all she was created to be, she lives and loves authentically from the inside out. As she also uses her voice as a multi-gifted and dynamic poet, known as, Sentimental. Sentimental expresses her life experiences, from being Transformed by His Love to growing her Destiny Wings.
